Practice this: Look yourself through the eyes of your mother ( or your beloved caretaker or God) . What would she want for you? How would she see you? Through this activity you will experience a significant change in your thought patterns. You will not only take actions you always wanted to but also that must be taken (may be morally) . It may happen initially you will regret for some things you have done in past however eventually you will understand and will be willing to right the wrongs.
